We are blessed in Western New York and Southern Ontario to live in a region that produces world class wines. Many groups looking to maximize the experience of a winery tour choose to do so with Buffalo Limousine.

Buffalo Limousine Winery Tours are a safe, comfortable and a fun way to spend time with friends and family. Choose from pre-planned winery tours or custom design your own unique itinerary. Click here to book online, or call our office at (716) 835-4997.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in your winery tour planning...

  1. Determine your group size.
Groups with more than 10 people may require advance reservations. Group size also will determine the best chauffeur and vehicle choice for your event. No matter your group size, Buffalo Limousine has a stretch, Hummer SUV or Limo Bus to accommodate you in style.

  2. Choose which region you would like to tour.
Buffalo Limousine segregates the wine growing area into four regions:
Assuming your tour begins in the Buffalo area, these are approximate travel times by winery tour region:

    1. Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL) 65 mins. (border inspection times may vary)
    2. Niagara County 60 mins.
    3. Chautauqua 75 mins.
    4. Finger Lakes 120 mins.

  3. Choose a tour length.
Will your tour be five, six, seven hours or more? It all depends on what you would like to accomplish. Our experience has shown that five hours is generally the minimum amount of time to allow for a winery tour.

Remember to consider the travel time to/from the wineries when planning your tour. Think about lunch—will you have snacks in the limousine, a picnic lunch or dine at a fine restaurant?

It is best to enjoy each winery at a leisurely pace and appreciate the unique characteristics of each vineyard and vintage. Our guests tell us that the optimum number of wineries to visit is three or four and that you should plan on spending at least 45 minutes at each winery. Possibly more if you are taking a formal tour of the vineyards.

  4. Select the wineries to include in your tour.
Use Buffalo Limousine as your resource. Click here to find a listing of area wineries by region. A brief description is provided along with a link to the winery’s web site.
